Our client is a global contract logistics provider and one of the largest pure-play operators in its field, running a worldwide network of more than one thousand facilities. The business designs and operates the supply chains behind leading e-commerce, omnichannel retail, consumer electronics, food and beverage and industrial brands, combining large-scale warehousing and distribution with advanced warehouse automation, robotics and data-led fulfilment. Its Thailand operation supports both domestic distribution and cross-border trade, and forms part of a wider Asia-Pacific network. The organisation is now seeking a CPA/CPD-qualified Senior Accountant to take ownership of the accounting function for its Thailand entity. This is a role with genuine scope: the successful candidate will own the month-end and year-end close, manage statutory and tax compliance, and prepare reporting for both Thai regulatory requirements and international group standards

For a qualified accountant, this represents an opportunity to build a genuine specialism. Logistics finance is a distinct discipline, blending statutory accounting with operational cost analysis, site-level profitability and multi-currency intercompany reporting. The role offers direct exposure to regional and global finance stakeholders, close partnership with operational leadership, and a clear platform for progression within a listed multinational environment. Commercially fluent, English-speaking CPAs with supply chain sector experience remain in short supply in Thailand, and the experience gained here is highly transferable across the wider industry

Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end and year-end close process, including general ledger management, journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with TFRS, together with reporting packs for regional and group consolidation
  • Manage statutory and tax compliance, including VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax filings, and act as the primary liaison with the Revenue Department
  • Lead the external audit process, preparing schedules and supporting documentation and resolving auditor queries.
  • Produce management reporting and variance analysis, including site-level profitability and operational cost analysis for warehousing and distribution activities
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal control standards
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and support multi-currency transactions across the regional network
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide financial insight on contract performance, cost drivers and budgeting
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls and reporting efficiency
Requirements;
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licence / CPD
  • Approximately 5 – 8 years of accounting experience, including demonstrable ownership of a full-set month-end close
  • Strong command of written and spoken English is a must, as the role reports into an international finance structure
  • Solid working knowledge of TFRS and Thai tax regulations; exposure to group or US GAAP reporting is an advantage
  • Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, manufacturing, distribution or a similarly operationally complex environment is preferred. Candidates transitioning from external audit into industry will also be considered
  • Confident user of ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical ability, sound judgement and comfort working to tight reporting deadlines
  • An effective communicator, able to work credibly with non-finance stakeholders across operations
  • Thai nationality
