Assistant Business Controller (1 Year Contract)

Our client is a leading organization in the agriculture sector, located in Nonthaburi, seeking an Assistant Business Controller (1-year contract) to join its finance and business control team. The role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and cash flow planning, while also playing a key role in ERP system implementation and process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical and project management skills to contribute to strategic initiatives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support data for the monthly financial close process, including reviewing overall monthly Financial statements.
  • Support in management reporting with the variance/result analysis for Balance sheet, Profit & Loss, OPEX and CAPEX spending
  • Support financial information for quarterly Profit & Loss and Balance sheet forecast (YEE = Year-end Estimate) and annual Budgeting.
  • Support preparation of cash flow forecast to Business Controller team
  • Key person from Business Controller team to implement ERP.
  • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies, including the reviewing and implementing of processes and system changes.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Participate in strategic financial projects, including the implementation of ERP software.
  • Make recommendations for changes as needed, ensure company policies and procedures are followed, and establish the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud.
  • Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience in shared service and/or ERP implementation is preferable
  • Demonstrated strong ability in leadership, project management, effective communication and cross-functional work collaboration.Good command of written and spoken English.

They are now seeking a Country Manager for Cambodia to lead and grow their national business. This is a pivotal leadership role with full responsibility for country strategy, business performance, and organisational development. Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general or business management role with full P&L responsibility, ideally within a similar-sized country operation.
  • Prior experience in sales and/or marketing leadership roles within seed, agribusiness, life sciences, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Strong strategic thinking with proven ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building, developing, and motivating diverse teams.

They are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Airfreight Customer Service Manager to lead their air export and import service functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a motivated team, drive operational excellence, and make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor and other payment transactions accurately and on time for both local and overseas bank accounts
  • Record payment transactions correctly in the financial system in line with approved terms and company policies
  • Serve as a key operational user for payment-related processes during ERP implementation and system enhancements
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Review payment requests and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and approval policies
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized payment documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Handle cross-border payments, international wire transfers, and overseas banking procedures in compliance with regulatory and tax requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, banks, and Group Treasury to resolve payment issues and support daily cash flow activities
  • Prepare daily cash position reports and support cash flow monitoring and forecasting
  • Assist with payment-related reporting and provide support during internal and external audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably in payment processing, accounts payable, or banking-related roles
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end payment processes
  • Experience with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or similar platforms is an advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and external vendors
