Engineering Manager

Our client is a global agribusiness and manufacturing organisation with a strong operational footprint in Thailand. As part of its continued investment in plant performance and safety, they are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives at its facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational reliability, driving CAPEX projects, and embedding strong safety and sustainability standards across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring all activities are carried out and any missed maintenance is planned back in.
  • Audit and ensure compliance of engineering data systems across the facility.
  • Schedule internal and external works to maximise planned downtime and minimise unplanned disruptions.
  • Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively addressing dysfunctional machinery as required.
  • Ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are undertaken on schedule.
  • Adhere to daily and weekly site checks to ensure smooth and safe operation.
  • Propose and lead infrastructure expansion, construction, renovation, and asset modification or replacement projects.
  • Develop and impart working knowledge of plant machinery, facilities, and equipment across the team.
  • Ensure all facilities are ready for operation, including substations under the EWS Group.
  • Work closely with the Management Team, Country SHE Team, Plant Manager, and other departments to ensure actions are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Drive CAPEX investment projects and manage maintenance OPEX and budget planning, monitoring actual spend against plan.
  • Provide engineering consultancy and guidance to all related functions across the business.
  • Implement engineering solutions to improve sustainability and resource efficiency across the plant.
  • Collaborate with government bodies and relevant external parties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of process and operational safety, health, and environmental management.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and Google Sheets; experience with Power BI or Looker Studio is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of building and facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of calibration systems and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Global Senior Finance Analyst, Commercials

Our client is a globally recognised agribusiness and seed technology company with a strong presence across emerging markets. As part of its continued focus on data-driven commercial performance, they are seeking a Global Senior Finance Analyst to support group-level sales, marketing, and commercial finance activities. This role partners closely with regional stakeholders to deliver financial insights, drive forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and prepare monthly financial decks and dashboards to track Group actual and forecasted KPIs, including Sales, Gross Profit, IGV, Opex, Accounts Receivable, and DSO.
  • Conduct variance analysis on Sales, Gross Profit, and IGV by market and crop, as well as Opex by function, cost centre, market, and spending category.
  • Engage with Market Finance, Sales and Marketing business partners, and Group cross-functional teams to gather business insights on sales and margin drivers including price, volume, and mix.
  • Support Group S&OP by identifying key risks and opportunities across top-line and spending, and present findings to support decision-making with the Group Finance Business Partner.
  • Support the preparation of official Financial Forecasts and Annual Budget submissions for Group Net Sales and Commercial Opex, including financial presentations.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Intelligence team to ensure BI financial dashboards are accurate and up to date, and develop new dashboards as required.
  • Support data requirements to develop and analyse Crop P&L across the Group.
  • Collaborate with Group Commercials, Operations, and market teams on Commercial SLOB and Excess Stock Management.
  • Support the development of financial practice standards in the Commercials area to improve cost clarity, accounting accuracy, and integrity.
  • Reconcile gross sales between BI and TM1 systems to ensure data consistency.
  • Initiate group guidelines and financial instructions to subsidiaries within the OTC process, implement corrective measures and controls, and evaluate their effectiveness in managing risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or external audit, preferably within a global or multicultural environment.
  • Critical thinker with a fast, adaptive, and proactive approach and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a willingness to support and guide subsidiaries and cross-functional teams on best practice and financial acumen.

Our client is a tropical vegetable seed business who has their global IHQ based in Thailand.  They're looking for a crop-specific researcher responsible for developing new traits and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and speed of a commercial breeding program. This role combines deep scientific expertise in quantitative plant genetics, predictive breeding, and data analytics with practical breeding applications, particularly focused on cucumber, watermelon and melon product innovation. Your work will directly power scientific discovery to make an impact to the livelihood of millions of smallholder farmers world-wide. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead pre-breeding to introgress key traits from wild/exotic germplasm
  • Develop and validate molecular markers and genomic tools for trait discovery
  • Drive crop-specific research projects aligned with trait strategies
  • Collaborate with Crop Breeding Managers to define and execute trait strategies
  • Integrate advanced technologies (phenotyping, environmental modeling) into trials
  • Evaluate and enrich diverse germplasm to strengthen breeding pipelines
  • Facilitate germplasm exchange and knowledge sharing globally
  • Oversee pre-breeding trials, ensuring data quality and experimental standards
  • Supervise and train technical staff and field teams for trial execution
  • Analyze large-scale genotypic, phenotypic, and environmental data for selection
  • Apply genomic prediction and machine learning to improve breeding accuracy

Requirements:
