SEA Indirect Procurement Manager
About the Role This is a high-impact regional role responsible for leading indirect procurement across CAPEX, equipment, and manufacturing infrastructure in Southeast Asia. You will shape sourcing strategies, build supplier ecosystems, and drive investment value across multiple markets. The role goes beyond traditional procurement — it combines engineering exposure, commercial strategy, and regional leadership. You will work closely with stakeholders across procurement, engineering, operations, and finance to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing solutions. Key Responsibilities
• Act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders across the region
• Define and execute sourcing strategies that drive long-term value, not just cost savings
• Champion safety, ethics, and sustainability across procurement activities
• Build and develop procurement team capabilities CAPEX, Equipment & Engineering Procurement
• Lead sourcing for equipment, automation, and manufacturing infrastructure projects
• Drive value engineering, cost optimization, and should-cost modelling
• Manage RFIs/RFQs and supplier selection processes
• Develop strong supplier partnerships to support innovation and reliability
• Support plant upgrades, automation initiatives, and technical project execution
• Ensure supply continuity and resilience through effective planning and risk management
• Provide market insights and forecasting to support budgeting and investment decisions Commercial Impact & Delivery
• Lead negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms (price, service, warranty, total cost of ownership)
• Deliver measurable cost savings and business impact
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance teams
• Share best practices across regions and categories
Requirements
• Regional responsibility across Southeast Asia (multiple markets)
• Influence significant procurement spend across both regional and wider Asia-Pacific levels
• Lead and develop a small team
• High visibility role with both regional and broader leadership exposure Qualifications and Requirements:
• 5–7 years of experience in CAPEX, equipment procurement, or manufacturing environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business
• Experience in automation, factory upgrades, or capital projects
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders in a complex, matrix organization
• Strong communication skills in English (additional SEA languages are a plus)
