Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical technicians, ensuring timely and quality execution of maintenance tasks
• Plan, execute, and monitor the PM program, making data-driven adjustments to improve reliability
• Analyze equipment failures using RCFA tools and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all maintenance activities align with food manufacturing standards and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with regional/global teams and service providers to coordinate mechanical projects and upgrades
• Manage mechanical engineering budgets, monitor spare parts inventory, and identify cost saving opportunities
• Support Capital Long-Range Planning (CLRP) and manage small- to mid-scale CapEx projects
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, performance KPIs, and improvement projects
• Actively contribute to the digital transformation through smart factory tools, dashboards, and data tracking
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols in all engineering tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG or food industry preferred) in maintenance or project engineering
• Proven-hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance systems
• Strong understanding of food-grade mechanical systems and sanitary equipment design is an advantage
• Proficiency in SAP (minimum 3 years as a key user, especially in PM/MM modules)
• Good command of English and Thai, both verbal and written, with ability to work in a global team
• Skilled in digital factory tools and maintenance dashboards
• Proficient in MS Office, CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and simulation software
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
