Our client, a global leader in tropical vegetable seeds, is preparing for an exciting transformation with the implementation of a new ERP system in 2025. Their mission is to streamline finance and accounting operations, fostering efficiency and innovation across their global operations.
They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with local regulations, and manage key accounting functions across Thailand, the Netherlands, and Indochina. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
Oversee key financial areas such as current assets, fixed assets, and cost accounting, ensuring the integrity of financial data
Lead the implementation of the new ERP system, centralising finance and accounting operations at the Nonthaburi location
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and effective change management during the ERP implementation
Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the organisation
Build and lead a strong team, supporting cross-module and cross-entity operations across multiple regions
Guide and motivate team members through change management processes, setting up shared service teams and driving process improvements
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise tax efficiency and manage tax benefits related to BOI, NSTDA, and IBC
Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and stay informed on changes in tax legislation
Collaborate with global teams to support business growth and financial objectives
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional Certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent), Preferred but not mandatory
At least 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial position, ideally within a multinational environment
Significant experience in implementing or managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), particularly in large organisations
Strong expertise in tax planning, tax law compliance, and managing benefits associated with BOI, NSTDA, and IBC
Experience in manufacturing or a related sector will be advantageous
Ability to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making
Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting processes, ensuring adherence to local regulations, GAAP, or IFRS
Advanced knowledge of financial and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), as well as accounting software
Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational performance
Strong track record of managing change, particularly related to system implementations or process improvements, with a focus on communication and stakeholder management
Experience managing projects, particularly those related to process improvement and system implementation
Ability to present complex financial information clearly and collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders
High standards of accuracy in financial reporting and data management
Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and resolve complex issues related to finance, tax, and systems
