Our client is a global manufacturing company serving the vehicle and transportation industry. As part of its ongoing growth and operational development, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to strengthen its supply chain and production planning capabilities.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented planning professional who enjoys working at the center of manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of materials to support production and customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Acting as the key link between sales, production, warehouse, procurement, logistics, and suppliers, you will balance customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather customer demand and forecasts from the sales team.
  • Schedule, balance, and review production plans based on customer demand, forecasts, and production capacity.
  • Schedule and place purchase orders with local and overseas suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Communicate production plans and demand forecasts with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Keep relevant teams informed of potential material shortages, supply issues, and operational risks.
  • Work closely with logistics, import/export, and BOI teams to support the receipt of overseas materials.
  • Monitor key planning KPIs, including Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), Material Availability, and Inventory Levels.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and supply chain processes.
  • Support Quality and Environmental Management System activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a BOI-promoted manufacturing company is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Natural leadership ability with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Curious, proactive, and able to make day-to-day operational decisions.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
