COUNTRY GENERAL MANAGER - THAILAND A fast-growing Chinese restaurant chain catering brand with over 2,500 locations across 360 cities globally, operating via a direct franchise model with an integrated supply chain and digital operations infrastructure. The brand has been expanding aggressively into Southeast Asia since 2022, with its first Thailand location already operational and profitable. 

ROLE PURPOSE This is a newly created, top-leadership role with full P&L and operational authority for Thailand. The Country General Manager will build and scale the franchise network from the ground up, driving store expansion, franchisee performance, localized brand operations, and team development across all functions. The role is the primary interface between headquarters and the Thailand market, responsible for delivering regional profitability and sustainable growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Franchise Strategy & Development

  • Develop Thailand's 3–5 year franchise strategy, including differentiated market entry plans and annual franchise acquisition targets
  • Build a localized franchise network; lead franchisee recruitment, qualification review, and contract signing
  • Optimize franchise policies to strengthen brand appeal and improve franchisee retention
  • Establish a franchisee grading management system and organize regular summits to resolve recurring operational issues
Store Development & Operations

  • Oversee site selection, renovation standard implementation, and pre-opening preparation to ensure single-store ROI targets are met
  • Monitor SOP compliance across the store network; improve operational efficiency through structured training programs, store visits, and data tracking
  • Manage construction and fit-out processes in line with brand standards
Brand & Marketing

  • Drive localized brand building and collaborate with product teams on menu adaptation to local tastes and dietary requirements
  • Develop regional marketing strategies; plan brand promotions and manage social media and KOL/influencer partnerships
  • Establish a crisis response mechanism to handle major customer complaints and reputational risks
Team & Compliance

  • Recruit and lead local teams across franchise development, operations, construction, and marketing functions (team of ~20)
  • Set performance KPIs across all direct-report functions and ensure full regulatory and business compliance
  • Coordinate effectively between China headquarters and Thailand-based teams
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above; MBA or Master's in Business Administration preferred
  • Experience: 10 years in restaurant chain catering; minimum 5 years in senior cross-border franchise management; prior Country GM or Regional Director role required; demonstrated 0–1 franchise system build experience in Southeast Asia strongly preferred
  • Technical: Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and business analytics; familiarity with integrated supply chain systems and digital operations platforms (e.g. smart site selection tools, POS/operation management systems)
  • Leadership: Outstanding cross-cultural management skills; proven ability to coordinate between HQ and local teams; full oversight experience across site selection, development, operations, franchise, and construction

Food Safety and Quality Technician
Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturer within the food production and pet nutrition sector. They are currently seeking a Food Safety and Quality Technician to join their team in the Samutprakarn area.

This position supports food safety and quality programs within the manufacturing facility, working closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure products are tested, compliant, and released on time in line with quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring product samples are composited, tested, and cleared prior to shipment to support the positive release program. Create COA’s in accordance with quality assurance testing program.

  • Support the environmental monitoring program by performing swabbing activities, collecting samples, and ensuring proper testing is performed.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and Record as required. 
  • Conduct food safety audits to ensure Good Hygiene Practices and Food Safety Program are being followed.
  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all practices are executed in accordance with these standards.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and CAPA for food safety and quality issues that arise.
  • Participate in problem solving initiatives in accordance with EBOS principles to resolve customer complaints.
  • Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure that customer orders are shipped on time and without any quality concerns.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-years college or university in Food Safety, Food Science and technology, Biological Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have an experience related with quality assurance of food manufacturing companies for at least 3 years.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including Good Hygiene Practices (GHPs), HACCP, FSSC22000, BRC, ISO22000, IFS or SQF.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records relating to jobs as they are planned, performed and completed.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with peers, co-workers, scientists, researchers, supervisors, customers and vendors as required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical materials.
  • Proficiency in spoken, reading, and writing in Thai and English.
  • Proficient skill level in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Thailand (EEC) | Reports to VP-level line manager

ROLE PURPOSE


This is a greenfield leadership role responsible for building and owning the NPI/NPD quality function from the ground up. The Senior Manager will establish the APQP framework, set the quality culture, and lead a growing team across all New Product Introduction quality activities. The mandate spans strategic framework ownership through to hands-on technical leadership across an active portfolio of concurrent NPI programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

NPI Quality Framework Ownership

  • Establish and own end-to-end NPI quality framework: APQP, PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA strategies
  • Define and set KPIs for the NPI quality function from scratch
  • Deploy ISO 9001-aligned QMS adapted to NPI/NPD context
  • Define Critical-to-Customer and Critical-to-Quality (CtC/CtQ) flowdown standards
New Product Introduction Leadership

  • Lead quality assurance across all NPI programmes, design transfer, process capability studies, and launch readiness milestones
  • Manage simultaneous quality oversight across 40 concurrent NPI projects
  • Conduct line qualification activities and ensure IQC, MRB, and audit readiness at each phase gate
  • Interface directly with customer quality teams on NPI requirements and commitments
Risk Management

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management; or a related field preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, logistics and supply chain.
