Process Engineer (Traditional Casting)

Our client is a well-known multinational manufacturing company that is expanding operations in Thailand and Southeast Asia. We are looking for a Process Engineer with experience in manufacturing line casting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, optimise, and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Provide technical expertise for leading manufacturing methods and troubleshoot process-related issues affecting product quality, cost, and throughput
• Collect and analyse process data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
• Implement real-time process controls to ensure optimal operating conditions
• Evaluate and manage resources, including raw materials, manpower, and time
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the final product meets specified standards
• Develop and maintain detailed process and product documentation for training and compliance
• Work with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, NPD, Production, and Quality Control, for integrated project success
• Evaluate new or existing processes to determine feasibility and cost-savings
• Train staff on new processes, tools, and methodologies
• Integrate new technologies or systems to enhance overall efficiency

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as either a process or manufacturing engineer
• Demonstrated expertise in traditional casting, encompassing various ceramics casting methods and materials
• Ideally has a background in the tableware industry; alternatively, experience in sanitary ware
• Exhibit a high proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and data analysis tools, including advanced skills in using software such as Minitab
• Comprehensive understanding of ERP systems for effective integrated business process management
• Demonstrate ability to program and manage automated control systems, including expertise in handling robots
