Our client is one of the world's leading tropical vegetable seed companies. They are seeking a results-driven and strategic professional to take on the role of Group Sales Excellence Manager. This key position is pivotal in leading commercial process improvement, operating at cross-functional and cross-country levels, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to formulate efficient and action-oriented programs that drive sales growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive transformative change and make a significant impact within our global vegetable seed business who are committed to providing high-quality seeds and knowledge on effective agronomic practices to millions of smallholder farmers globally. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of key strategic and tactical Sales excellence initiatives: Sales Forecasting, Sales Incentive Plan, Commercial Policy (Dealer Incentives), Channel Distribution, Sales Processes and Optimization
  • Drive adherence to the sales forecasting process at the group level. Collaborate and coordinate with the Countries in analyze the outlook and provide insights on risk and opportunity
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for the next generation of Sales Excellence tools and capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement in the sales processes including tools and establish measure for ROI on sales programs. Collaborate across countries for deployment
  • Performs data culling and mining to provide accurate sales reports that will be used for sales performance evaluation and strategic planning to the Group Head of Sales
  • Manage ad-hoc reporting or analysis as required by management. Work cross-functionally across the organizational to fully understand objectives and apply analytics in support of projects and to ensure efficient problem solving and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field including Business, Statistics, Economics or its equivalent degree
  • Ability to think out of the box
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills : Able to deliver messages in a clear and convincing manner and able to influence the right action from stakeholders
  • At least 10 years of work experience in Commercial, responsible for designing sales excellence programs / initiatives
  • Proven track record of handling complex analyses
  • Experience in strategic decision support, market forecasting, performance tracking and data analytics
  • Is IT-savvy and have strong experience in programming and broad-based awareness of other analytical tool
