Job Summary

Communication & Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams.

  • Communicate effectively across shifts and report daily performance.

  • Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading a maintenance or technical team in a manufacturing environment.

  • 5 years background in Food/FMCG manufacturing or other regulated industries preferred.

  • Experience with safety, quality systems, and audits is an advantage.

  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • Hands-on technical troubleshooting and maintenance expertise.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with high attention to detail.

  • Fair to good English communication skills.

IT Manager
Our client is a premier manufacturer specialising in complex structural components for the global aerospace and defense industries. Operating within a highly regulated environment, the company maintains a global footprint, emphasising rigorous data security and precision engineering to meet elite aviation standards.

This role leads all IT operations at the Thailand site, including ERP (SyteLine), infrastructure, and end-user services, while ensuring cybersecurity, information security, and regulatory compliance. The position serves as the main point of accountability for site IT performance, leads the local IT team, and acts as the key liaison with Corporate IT and other internal and external stakeholders reporting to Corporate CIO.

 
Responsibilities:

IT Service Delivery & Site IT Management.
  • Own end-to-end IT service delivery for the Thailand site across ERP, infrastructure, and end-user computing.
  • Establish and operate a KPI-driven IT service model aligned with Corporate ITSM standards.
  • Ensure IT services meet defined availability, performance, reliability, and support SLAs.
  • Act as the site IT authority for prioritisation, escalation, and resolution of IT issues impacting operations.
  • Align local execution with Corporate IT architecture, standards, and roadmaps.

ERP Management – SyteLine.
  • Own site-level ERP operations and support for SyteLine, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and user productivity.
  • Coordinate ERP incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation with Corporate ERP teams and vendors.
  • Manage ERP access controls, segregation of duties, and change management in alignment with security and compliance requirements.
  • Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, and integrations while minimizing operational disruption.
  • Ensure ERP processes and controls support audit, traceability, and regulatory requirements.

Infrastructure & End-User Computing.
  • Own site infrastructure operations, including day-to-day monitoring and support of servers, networks, storage, backups, and connectivity, while coordinating escalation to Corporate Tier 3 teams for advanced engineering, architectural changes, and complex troubleshooting.
  • Manage desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral support, ensuring reliable and secure end-user services.

  • Ensure infrastructure and endpoints are operated in accordance with Corporate security baselines and hardening standards.

Team Leadership & Resource Management.
  • Directly manage and develop a local IT team, covering ERP support, infrastructure, and desktop services.
  • Set clear performance expectations tied to service KPIs and business goals , incident resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prioritise work, balance operational demand, and escalate resource constraints as required.
  • Foster a service-oriented culture focused on accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

Cybersecurity & Information Security.
  • Ensure cybersecurity controls are integrated into ERP, infrastructure, and end-user environments.
  • Implement and operate security controls including endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and data protection tools.
  • Manage identity and access management, privileged access, and periodic access reviews.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in coordination with Corporate security teams.
  • Drive vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and remediation tracking.

Compliance, Audit & Corporate Alignment.
  • Own the Thailand site’s IT, cybersecurity, and compliance posture, aligned with Corporate and U.S. site standards.
  • Maintain compliance with PDPA, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000, and alignment with NIST 800-171 and CMMC Level 2.
  • Serve as the site point-of-contact for Corporate CCG, internal audit, customers, and external auditors.
  • Lead audit preparation, execution, and corrective action management.

KPI, Risk & Governance.
  • Align, track, and report IT service KPIs, including availability, incident response, backlog, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an integrated IT and cybersecurity risk register and action plan for the site.
  • Perform periodic risk assessments and manage remediation plans.
  • Provide regular service performance, risk, and compliance reporting to site and Corporate leadership.

Evidence Management, Policy & Continuous Improvement.
  • Maintain an audit-ready evidence library covering IT operations, ERP controls, security, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain IT, cybersecurity, and ITSM policies and procedures.
  • Deliver cybersecurity and PDPA awareness training for site employees.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT stability, security maturity, and service quality.
 

Skills and experience required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience across IT operations, ERP support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity in regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ERP platforms (SyteLine or similar) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading small IT teams and delivering KPI-driven IT services.
  • Strong working knowledge of PDPA, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000, NIST 800-171, and IT risk management.
  • Strong English communication skills for Corporate and customer engagement.
  • Professional certifications: ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000, CISSP, CISM, Security .
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or similarly regulated industries.
  • Experience operating as a site IT lead within a global IT organisation.
