Our client is a global leader in electronic interconnect and component manufacturing, with a strong presence across mission-critical industries including automotive, industrial automation, telecommunications, and medical technology.
The company is rapidly expanding its manufacturing and sourcing hub in Thailand and is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager, South and East Asia to serve as the single point of strategic accountability for regional sourcing, with a primary focus on direct electronics commodities including cables, wires, connectors, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end category strategies for Thailand and Southeast Asia, focusing on direct electronics categories including cables, wires, connectors, wire harnesses, and components
  • Leverage local and Asian market intelligence to identify, audit, and onboard high-performing suppliers that enhance cost, quality, lead time, and supply chain resilience
  • Partner with NPI and Quality teams to support regulated programme requirements, ensuring full compliance, traceability, and risk alignment
  • Lead executive-level commercial negotiations covering unit pricing, payment terms, capacity reservation, tooling agreements, and risk-sharing terms
  • Build forward-looking, volume-aggregated pricing models using long-term demand visibility to secure market-leading total cost of ownership structures
  • Establish quotation history tracking, benchmark analytics, and cost-breakdown models to drive continuous cost-down and VA/VE cost reduction initiatives
  • Provide hands-on quotation support to improve RFQ turnaround speed, accuracy, and competitiveness for new business development
  • Act as the central bridge aligning local manufacturing operations, engineering, NPI, materials planning, and global commercial sourcing teams
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for commercial disputes, vendor performance issues, and supply continuity risks across the Asian vendor base

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10 or more years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience within electronics, EMS, or Tier-1 automotive manufacturing environments
  • Strong domain expertise in direct materials sourcing including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, connectors, mechanical and stamping parts, or electronic components
  • Proven track record in BOM costing, supplier localisation, VA/VE cost reduction, and commercial negotiations
  • Solid CAPEX procurement experience including machinery, tooling, and equipment sourcing is desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of navigating and negotiating within the Asian supply network across Thailand, Greater China, and Southeast Asia
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills for regional and global stakeholder management
  • Based in or able to commute to Chachoengsao; the site is commutable from Eastern Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Chonburi

In this role, you will manage warehouse facilities, procurement activities, supplier coordination and related administration. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining compliance with company policies, client requirements and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse facilities and administrative activities, including racking, forklifts, warehouse equipment and general maintenance

SMT Production Supervisor
Our client is a European-headquartered global Tier-1 automotive technology supplier and a long-standing partner to the world’s leading carmakers and new mobility players. Its Chonburi plant manufactures automotive electronics for driving assistance and in-cabin comfort systems including parking and ADAS sensors, camera modules, electronic control units and interior control panels built on high-volume, high-mix SMT/PCBA lines to strict automotive quality standards (IATF 16949). The SMT Production Supervisor leads an autonomous production zone covering the SMT/PCBA lines, accountable for people, standards, daily output and continuous improvement against Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Management (SQCDM) targets. Reporting to the Production Unit Manager, this role suits a hands-on leader from automotive electronics who runs the shop floor through genba presence, lean tools and strong team development.

Responsibilities 
People Management

  • Lead, schedule and develop production operators and team leaders across shifts, including temporary staff; own induction and training plans for all newcomers
  • Analyse multi-skill and flexibility needs, maintain the skills/flexibility matrix and drive operator certification
  • Manage daily absenteeism, leave, safety rule enforcement, working-time validation and performance board updates
  • Conduct annual appraisals, salary reviews and career discussions; build engagement and a positive team climate
Standards & TPM
  • Deliver daily on-the-job training and audit adherence to work instructions, safety, quality and 5S standards on every station, including rework
  • Define and update work standards with support functions and operators
  • Deploy TPM: abnormality detection (red tags), operator inspection and cleaning, first-level preventive maintenance and maintenance QRQC
  • Monitor equipment performance on the floor — cycle time, micro-stoppages, time studies and waste (MUDA) elimination
Production Control
  • Propose weekly headcount and line organisation in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS); deliver output against SQCDM and inventory targets
  • Coordinate daily priorities with Supply Chain; recover any MPS deviation within the week
  • Lead containment and corrective actions with support functions when issues exceed team level; escalate per reaction standards
  • Review daily problem-solving records and keep QCDM boards and shift reports up to date
Continuous Improvement
  • Lead SQCDM improvement and productivity plans, including annual cost-reduction targets, aligned with plant objectives
  • Run lean workshops (flow analysis, 5S, TPM, Hoshin) and an active employee suggestion system; present progress at the site lean committee
  • Pilot PDCA, FTA and 5-Why analyses on safety, quality, efficiency and maintenance topics; prepare lessons-learned and Kaizen cards
  • Lead line safety QRQC and environmental risk reduction; support start-up of new equipment and processes
  • Contribute to budget preparation (headcount, overheads, investment) and manage the zone budget
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechatronics or related).
  • Minimum 3 years in a Production Supervisor role, within automotive production.
  • Strong hands-on SMT line and PCB assembly (PCBA) experience printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI and test.
  • Working knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools (QRQC, 8D, 5-Why, PDCA) and lean/TPM practices; familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
  • Proven leadership of multi-shift teams with strong people-management and coaching skills.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written); Thai native or fluent.
  • Able to work at Amata City Chonburi.
