Senior Air Export Operation & Procurement

Our client, an international logistics service provider, is seeking a Senior Air Export Operation & Procurement professional to manage end-to-end air export operations while developing strong partnerships with airline partners. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments, ensuring smooth operational execution, and negotiating competitive freight rates to support business growth and service excellence.
 

Key Responsibilities

Air Export Operations

• Manage and oversee end-to-end air export shipment processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with international shipping regulations.
• Monitor shipment status closely and coordinate with internal teams, overseas agents, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and verify export documentation including AWB, shipping instructions, and customs-related documents.
• Resolve operational issues proactively to minimize delays and ensure high service quality.
• Ensure compliance with airline, customs, and international freight regulations.

Airline Relationship Management & Procurement

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with airlines and cargo partners.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates, space allocation, and service agreements with airline partners.
• Monitor market freight rate trends and provide cost optimization strategies.
• Source and evaluate new airline partners to expand service capabilities.
• Support pricing strategy and provide rate quotations to internal sales teams.

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with sales, customer service, and overseas offices to support business development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and procurement agreements.
• Provide shipment performance and procurement reports to management when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Air Export Operations within freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Experience working with airlines and cargo space procurement.
• Solid knowledge of air freight documentation, export procedures, and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of English and Thai in both written and spoken communication.
