Our client is a global logistics service provider with operations in more than 600 locations around the world. The business involves contract logistics, air/ocean freight and transport, as well as managing complex supply chains and providing value-added services for clients. We are seeking a motivated Junior Freight Sales Executive. This position is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing accounts by promoting our freight forwarding services to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Taking account ownership of existing company accounts and drive further development of small and medium sized companies  
  • Doing market research, identifying new and potential customers
  • Acquiring and developing new customers in the field of air freight, sea freight and cross-border trucking
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and closely collaborate with overseas logistics experts and local procurement and operations team
  • Generating sales leads and contributing to the success of the global Rhenus network
  • Live the Rhenus family spirit and make a difference  
  • Understanding market trends and consulting clients on finding best suitable solutions for their supply chain
  • Represent Rhenus professionally towards customers, vendors, chambers and other institutions
  • Maintain and update the most relevant customer information in internal systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in business management or  related field
  • 1-3 years experience in sales or customer service in logistics

About the Role

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 7 years of broad HR generalist experience (minimum 5 years for high-potential candidates).
  • Strong experience in a manufacturing or plant-based environment in Thailand (mandatory).
  • Proven experience working in an international company, preferably US- or EU-based.
  • Overseas working or assignment experience is a strong advantage (e.g., regional role, expatriate assignment, or extended collaboration with global teams).
  • Solid knowledge of Thai labor law and HR compliance.
  • Comfortable working independently with no HR team
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and business-oriented
  • Fluent in English and Thai
  • HRIS experience (Workday preferred)

  • Packaging industry experience is not applicable.
  • Proven ability to manage international clients and complex, technical sales.
  • Fluent in Thai and proficient in business English.
