About the Company: Our client is a growing company in the pet food industry, focused on developing innovative and high-quality products for both domestic and international markets. The business is currently looking for an experienced R&D Director to lead product development, innovation strategy, and technical development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the overall Research & Development function for pet food products
  • Drive new product development projects from concept through commercialization
  • Develop innovative formulations aligned with market trends, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Manage product improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and raw material development
  • Oversee laboratory trials, pilot testing, and production scale-up processes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Build and develop the R&D team, including coaching and performance management

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D leadership within Pet Food, Animal Nutrition, Food Manufacturing, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge in product formulation, food processing, and food safety standards
  • Experience managing new product development and commercialization projects
  • Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication skills
  • Good command of English
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in dry pet food, wet pet food, treats, or functional nutrition products

Key Responsibilities
