Our client is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of mechanical and electrical systems for a wide range of building projects. This role requires strong technical capability in building services engineering design and the ability to collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical building systems design within a consultancy environment and be capable of managing multiple project responsibilities while maintaining high engineering and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Engineer
  • Design and develop mechanical building systems including HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection systems
  • Prepare design calculations, technical specifications, reports, and engineering documentation
  • Develop and review mechanical drawings, layouts, and BIM/Revit models
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and technical proposals from contractors
  • Support tender documentation and technical evaluations
  • Ensure designs comply with local codes, international standards, sustainability requirements, and project specifications
Electrical Engineer
  • Design and coordinate electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, and ELV systems
  • Prepare electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Develop and review electrical drawings and BIM/Revit models
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and project efficiency
  • Participate in project design reviews and technical coordination meetings
  • Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
  • Support project execution teams during construction and commissioning phases when required
  • Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable engineering standards and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in M&E design consultancy or engineering consulting environment
  • Strong experience in building services design and multidisciplinary project coordination
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of international design standards and local building regulations
  • Good understanding of design processes, technical documentation, and project delivery
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines
  • Good command of English communication is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for packaging materials to support export production schedules
  • Raise PRs for packaging materials and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely procurement
  • Monitor and maintain common packaging inventory within defined Min-Max stock levels while optimizing inventory utilization
  • Lead weekly operations meetings with the Plant and cross-functional teams to review production status, resolve constraints, and ensure timely execution of packing plans, including support for urgent requests beyond the confirmed order plan
