They are seeking an experienced and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role across Engineering, Quality, and Industrial Engineering and Operational Performance. The role focuses on optimising production process flows and production line structures to improve efficiency, manufacturability, and consistent, repeatable performance.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the production elements of the industrial dossier, primarily the Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, and Standardised work instructions
- Manage deliverables during the manufacturing engineering phase, including production documentation and industrial validation
- Provide feedback to design engineering to enhance product design for ease of manufacturing, optimisation of cost, weight reduction, and time to manufacture the product
- Identify necessary investments and oversee their implementation
- At the product design phase, ensure that production constraints and opportunities are considered, evaluate the robustness of industrial arrangements, and propose changes to definition files to facilitate achieving production cost, quality, and delivery objectives more effectively
- Resolve prototype manufacturing issues and communicate solutions to design engineering
- Review 2D drawings for manufacturability
- Perform time studies, develop work breakdowns, and develop standard work instructions
- Contribute to the costing proposals submitted to customers
- Lead and participate in Kaizen and 3P events to develop improvements and strategic plans
- Support departmental and personal objectives/ measurements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, ensuring effective communication in a professional setting
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of engineering principles and their practical application
- Proficient in utilising the Windows Operating System® and Office 365, with a solid command of design software and expertise in leveraging Power BI for data analysis
- In-depth knowledge of airworthiness regulations, highlighting a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
- Familiar with Lean – Six Sigma, with practical experience in implementing LEAN tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and the “5S” methodology, showcasing a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
