In this role the successful candidate will supports the Quality Manager in managing and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field
  • 5–10 years in  QA/QC experience in packaging , plastic or closure manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience handling NCR, CAPA, and customer complaints
  • Proficient in quality tools i.e. SPC, 7 QC tools, Root Cause Analysis and trend analysis
  • Able to analyse quality data and prepare management level reports
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Good English communication skills

Assistant Manager – Planning & Operations
Our client is a global apparel manufacturing and supply chain organisation with a strong regional footprint across Asia. As part of its continued growth and operational transformation, the company is seeking an Assistant Manager – Planning & Operations to lead end-to-end supply chain execution across garment production. This role plays a critical position within the organisation, acting as the key escalation point between regional teams and vendors while driving performance, process optimisation, and on-time delivery across complex, multi-country operations.Key Responsibilities 
Team Leadership & Performance Management 
  • Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of supply chain data and production milestones. 
  • Lead complex data analysis and generate high-level management reports. 
  • Monitor PO milestones, ensure accuracy, and implement corrective actions for non-conformity. 
  • Act as a project lead to support and roll out Corporate Supply Chain initiatives across regional teams. 
  • Mentor and support regional planners in daily operations. 

Demand Planning & Capacity Management 
  • Strategize and communicate forecasts and capacity requirements to garment vendors in alignment with the broader Sourcing Strategy. 
  • Evaluate and approve vendor capacity reports, ensuring factories can meet seasonal apparel demands. 
  • Oversee material, fabric, and trim planning, ensuring timely reservation and consolidation of components to prevent production delays. 

Operations & Production Management 
  • Ensure the integrity of Product Master Data; manage and resolve high-level system escalations. 
  • Drive and support the TKS OPC and CC plans for the region. 
  • Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order operations through the supply chain, ensuring seamless transitions from requisition release and PO creation to final shipment. 
  • Evaluate and execute complex customer requests with factories, coordinating with Management for feasibility approvals. 
  • Act as the key liaison between regions, apparel product development, production teams, and vendors to proactively manage and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks. 
  • Authorize and oversee Order Cancellations, Amendments, Value-Added Services (VAS), up-charges, and reimbursements. 
  • Manage payment and shipment deferral programs. 
  • Take the lead on complex vendor claims and dispute resolutions. 
 
Requirements 
  • BA or BSc in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning and Operations. 
  • Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in the garment/apparel manufacturing industry. * Proven track record of managing vendors, capacity planning, and raw material/fabric consolidation. 
  • Advanced technical skills: Power user of MS Excel, MS Access. VBA and Power BI programming are highly advantageous. 
  • Solid experience working within an SAP environment is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage escalations, and communicate effectively across cross-functional global teams.
