The Sales Manager APAC is accountable for driving profitable growth across the Asia-Pacific region. The role owns key accounts and strategic opportunities, develops new markets, and leads regional commercial planning to deliver revenue, margin, and long-term market positioning objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver APAC turnover, gross margin, and order intake in line with annual and mid-term plans
  • Manage and grow key accounts, dealers, and strategic partners across multiple APAC markets
  • Develop new business opportunities in hospitality, institutional, and commercial foodservice segments
  • Execute regional sales strategy aligned with global commercial priorities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and pipeline management with high accuracy
  • Ensure pricing discipline, cost control, and sound commercial decision-making
  • Manage customer credit exposure and debtor risk in coordination with Finance
  • Represent the company as a premium, reliable, solution-oriented partner
  • Act as a trusted commercial sparring partner to the VP Sales & Business Development
  • Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Customer Support, Planning, Production, and Service teams
  • Provide structured market feedback to support product development and customization
  • Drive collaboration and alignment across regional and global stakeholders

External Engagement

  • Key accounts and end customers (commercial negotiations, long-term partnerships)
  • Dealers, distributors, and agents (market development and execution)

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience
  • 5–10 years of international B2B sales experience, ideally in Aviation Equipment
  • Project-based or solution-selling environments
  • Catering equipment, commercial kitchens, or adjacent industries
  • Proven success in developing new markets and managing complex, multi-country sales cycles
  • Experience working with agents and distributors across APAC

  • Act as the main point of contact for expatriates, families, and stakeholders, providing clear guidance and full case ownership
  • Support the full assignment lifecycle from pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring smooth and consistent employee experience
  • Deliver onboarding sessions for expatriates to align on processes, timelines, and key requirements
  • Coordinate global business travel visas and travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, transportation) in line with company policies
