Our client is a global German chemicals firm with a strong presence across international markets. They are seeking a Logistics and Customer Order Fulfilment Officer to play a dual role in managing the end-to-end import process whilst maintaining seamless customer relationships. Based in Bangkok, you will ensure all import documentation is compliant for customs clearance whilst serving as the primary point of contact for customer accounts from quotation through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and audit essential import documentation including Bills of Lading, packing lists, invoices, and customs entries.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and smooth logistics flow.
  • Manage the preparation and processing of import duty payments.
  • Provide real-time shipment status updates and maintain systematic records to ensure audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with relevant government agencies regarding import licences for specialised goods as required.
  • Release customer purchase orders into the system, manage delivery schedules, and negotiate order confirmations.
  • Act as the primary bridge between customers and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Facilitate daily information flow between customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare outbound documentation including Delivery Notes, QR labels, Material Safety Data Sheets, and Certificates of Test.
  • Prepare and issue accurate formal quotations to customers in a timely manner.
  • Execute purchase orders in strict accordance with company procurement processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and update status reports by reconciling physical stock with digital records and movement documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, overseas purchasing, sourcing, or a buyer role.
  • Solid understanding of import functions and all related documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Business-level Chinese and fluent Thai are required for this role.
  • Comfortable working under pressure with hybrid or irregular working hours to accommodate global logistics timelines.
  • No allergies to chemicals, due to MSDS and material handling responsibilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage delivery schedules and terms with vendors and customers.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
  • Adaptable and comfortable navigating government regulations and complex logistics challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom tools, plugins, and scripts to improve BIM processes and efficiency

  • Experience working with BIM platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar

  • Understanding of BIM processes, standards (LOD, ISO 19650), and data structures
