Supply Chain & Logistics Administration

Our client is a global logistics company that provides end-to-end supply chain solutions, including transportation, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and value-added logistics services for a wide range of industries.

They are looking for a Logistics Administrator to manage end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export coordination, customs clearance, and trade compliance. The role works closely with 3PL providers, shipping agents, and internal stakeholders, supports licensing and permit applications, reverse logistics, operational issue escalation, reporting, translation support, and drives productivity and process improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and compliant logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain & Logistics support

  • Manage stakeholders & represent Varian TH logistics in Service & Logistics management meetings.
  • Monitor customs clearance to ensure legal compliance.
  • Manage & lead the 3PL provider to deliver Process efficiency, Cost savings / Productivity Projects.
  • Coordinate with shipping agent for daily shipment clearance on a timely & accurate basis & ensure the completion of documents and records
  • Support & coordinate translation activities from English to Thai language for the teams, as needed
  • Support local team for operational issues, be escalation point of contact for logistics related incidents, work with local / regional / logistics partners, act as a communication bridge to liaise with origin on shipment arrangements, status updates or issues
  • Reverse logistics management for defective items & other equipment.
  • Compliance & license support including raising Trade Compliance tickets for HSCODE for parts; license checks & permits application e.g. TISI license applications
  • Identify & establish at least 1 Productivity project yearly

Qualification:

  • A Logistics Administrator with duties that deal with steps of importing & exporting of goods. He / She manages communication & administration with Thai customs, government agencies, shipping agents, insurance companies & internal departments, as well as other related organizations to ensure goods importing processes are done properly & cost efficiently.
  • 2-3 years’ Logistics-related experience
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Self-motivated, Comfortable to work with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude, independent, resourceful & a team player
  • Good communication and writing skills including English & Thai languages

This position supports food safety and quality programs within the manufacturing facility, working closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure products are tested, compliant, and released on time in line with quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring product samples are composited, tested, and cleared prior to shipment to support the positive release program. Create COA’s in accordance with quality assurance testing program.
  • Responsible for ensuring raw materials are in specification, logged in, tested as appropriate, and cleared for use.

  • Develop, maintain, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and Record as required. 
  • Conduct food safety audits to ensure Good Hygiene Practices and Food Safety Program are being followed.
  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all practices are executed in accordance with these standards.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and CAPA for food safety and quality issues that arise.
  • Participate in problem solving initiatives in accordance with EBOS principles to resolve customer complaints.
  • Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure that customer orders are shipped on time and without any quality concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-years college or university in Food Safety, Food Science and technology, Biological Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have an experience related with quality assurance of food manufacturing companies for at least 3 years.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including Good Hygiene Practices (GHPs), HACCP, FSSC22000, BRC, ISO22000, IFS or SQF.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records relating to jobs as they are planned, performed and completed.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with peers, co-workers, scientists, researchers, supervisors, customers and vendors as required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical materials.
  • Proficiency in spoken, reading, and writing in Thai and English.

Managing the EHS activities in Thailand plant is one of the primary responsibilities of the EHS Officer, as well as a broad knowledge in the field of EHS. Collaborates with Operations, Engineering & Maintenance, Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, R&D and HR.

Responsibilities


General EHS Leadership and Governance

  • Manage EHS activities and drive employee safety culture
  • Provide safety information, performance deliverables and goals
  • Review, update and write EHS procedures, work instructions, forms and emergency plans
  • Act as EHS Q&A contact for local sites and global networks
  • Guard the risk assessment process, including evaluation and follow up on actions
  • Initiate, develop and deliver toolbox talks and training to employees
  • Set up and maintain the Journal of Hazardous Substances, manage CMR substances, keep SDS database up to date

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in process development or production, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes.
  • Experience in new product introduction or new model projects is an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
