• Receive and implement management strategy for the production process, managing PDCA cycles to meet KPI targets.
• Control and oversee all operational processes including injection moulding, assembly, pad printing, warehouse, purchasing, planning, and administration.
• Control production processes and estimate production volumes to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Manage operations in line with the production plan to ensure on-time delivery and achievement of required quantities.
• Ensure effective coordination between planning, purchasing, warehouse, and production to support smooth material flow.
• Analyse production and process issues, implementing improvements to reduce waste, rework, and inefficiencies.
• Plan and optimise the utilisation of machines, equipment, and manpower in line with production capacity requirements.
• Provide guidance on production technology, innovation, and technical improvements to enhance process stability and efficiency.
• Supervise and develop team members to ensure achievement of departmental KPIs and overall operational performance.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, material availability, and operational purchasing to support production requirements.
• Ensure accurate and efficient operational administration processes to support daily operations.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth execution of operations across all related departments.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience at a production managerial level.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and other relevant applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Our client is a leading global company in the packaging industry and is currently looking for a talented Assistant QA Manager to join the team. In this role the successful candidate will supports the Quality Manager in managing and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role bridges strategic quality management and daily QA operations, providing leadership to the QA team and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve the QMS (ISO, GHP, BRC) to ensure compliance and product quality.
• Manage NCR, CAPA, and customer complaints with timely corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive defect reduction and process improvement.
• Supervise QA team, laboratory activities, and quality control processes (incoming, in-process, outgoing).
• Support internal/external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality issues with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Report quality performance to management and maintain required documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field
• 5–10 years in  QA/QC experience in packaging , plastic or closure manufacturing is preferred
• Experience handling NCR, CAPA, and customer complaints
• Proficient in quality tools i.e. SPC, 7 QC tools, Root Cause Analysis and trend analysis
• Able to analyse quality data and prepare management level reports
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Good English communication skills
