Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Management
- Oversee and review AP transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Manage end-to-end AP processes including invoice verification, posting, payment processing, and vendor reconciliation
- Prepare AP aging reports and monitor payment schedules in line with supplier credit terms and cash flow planning
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of the Trial Balance related to AP, accruals, inventory, and other assigned accounts
- Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring accrued expenses and prepaid adjustments are recorded by the team
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure Trial Balance integrity prior to closing, and support the closing timeline for timely, accurate financial reporting
- Ensure supplier invoices and expenses are accurately recorded and aligned with production and inventory movements, including reviewing landed cost allocation (import expenses) and inventory valuation
- Review inventory movements in coordination with Production and Warehouse teams
- Calculate and review impairment allowance for inventory deterioration based on aging analysis, slow-moving items, and usage trends
- Ensure proper Net Realizable Value (NRV) of inventory is reflected in financial statements
- Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of tax reports, including VAT (PP.30, PP.36) and Withholding Tax (PND.3, PND.53, PND.54)
- Reconcile tax reports with accounting records to ensure consistency and accuracy prior to submission
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve discrepancies related to purchases and inventory
- Strengthen internal controls and improve AP and closing processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Support internal and external audits
- Supervise, coach, and develop AP team members to enhance performance and capability
- Ensure team compliance with company policies and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid experience in Accounts Payable and month-end closing, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Thai tax regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax) and financial reporting standards
- Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and landed cost allocation is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software/ ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under deadlines
