Our client, a leading snacks powerhouse leveraging diverse brands and a passionate workforce, is seeking a Shift Operations Leader. This on-site role is crucial for managing shift activities within the plant and providing leadership to the operations team. The role focuses on achieving key goals in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost while fostering a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, and Regulatory requirements during shifts
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment, producing high-quality products in line with company policies
  • Conduct Gemba walks on the shop floor to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Manage manufacturing operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) requirements
  • Supervise Operations Technicians to meet production schedules, optimise service levels, and maintain good manufacturing practices
  • Facilitate Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and Daily Management System (DMS) processes
  • Support the technical and leadership development of Operations Technicians in alignment with their skill requirements
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work environment
  • Maintain effective communication with the team, conducting one-on-one meetings with direct reports
  • Manage HR processes related to the shift team, including attendance, leaves, and disciplinary actions
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in shift operations management
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Smart Factory tools
  • Fluency in English and Thai to communicate effectively at all organisational levels
  • Proactive, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills; experience in continuous improvement systems (e.g., Six Sigma, TQM) is a plus
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
