Senior and Product Engineer

Our client, a leading multinational corporation in HVAC and Thermal Systems, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Product Engineer to manage the lifecycle of new products, from initial concept through to final delivery and beyond. This role will involve collaborating with global teams, leading product development, and ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:

• Manage new product introductions and changes from concept to completion, including pre-award planning and post-delivery support
• Understand and deliver on customer requirements for samples and document submissions to ensure complete satisfaction
• Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation, providing updates to global teams, and generate and manage open issues lists
• Plan and execute projects to meet goals within time, cost, and quality constraints
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes for assigned project products
• Participate in product validation activities and ensure the successful validation of assigned projects
• Ensure adherence to company standards, including 5S and housekeeping practices, to maintain operational excellence
• Engage in cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities, ensuring compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards
• Comply with applicable SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) regulations and legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably within a Tier 1 environment
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proven experience with IATF16949 quality standards and a thorough understanding of compliance requirements
• Excellent proficiency in written, spoken, and reading English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications
