Our client, a global leader in the housing and building materials industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales leader to drive growth in the Thai market. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies (B2B and B2C), building strong customer relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute front-end sales strategies for the domestic Thai market.
  • Deliver on revenue targets while managing sales and marketing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and resolve disputes.
  • Build strong relationships with key client and internal stakeholders.
  • Understand the market landscape and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Contribute to team efforts and support other team members as needed.
  • Manage sales forecasting, planning, and buyer-driven sales and marketing processes.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of sales and marketing automation platforms.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to inform strategic decision-making.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field
  • At least 8 years of sales or equivalent business experience in construction, building materials or related industry
  • Strong sales experience, including managing teams, distributors, and project sales
  • Proven track record of success in similar roles, ideally with companies in the housing and building materials industry
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, hands-on approach, and willingness to work at a ground level
  • Dynamic and resilient, with a high energy level to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with resilience and the ability to motivate and lead teams
  • Experience in A&P support, creative marketing, sales programs, and strategic planning
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively
  • Proven technical skills, product management, leadership, coaching, and strategy implementation abilities
  • Knowledge of management information systems, negotiation skills, and change management
