Safety Automation Engineer

Our client is a globally-renowed, safety automation and industrial controls solutions company. This is an excellent opportunity to become a recognized expert in machinery and automation safety. The role involves delivering specialized safety services to clients across Thailand and Southeast Asia, enabling them to enhance the safety, efficiency, and advanced capabilities of their automated equipment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and contribute to the growth of the safety services business.


Responsibility:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments of machinery and systems, identifying potential hazards, evaluating risks, and developing effective risk mitigation strategies and safety concepts that comply with relevant standards
• Develop detailed safety requirement specifications and performance level verification reports
• Execute safety verification, safety validation, and other specialized safety services
• Provide timely and effective support to the sales team, offering expertise on safety services and solutions to meet specific client requirements
• Champion safety best practices by sharing knowledge and expertise with internal teams and clients, promoting safety awareness and understanding
• Deliver engaging and informative training programs on various aspects of machinery safety
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical or relevant engineering/technical discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in industrial processes, manufacturing, safety consulting, occupational safety and health, or a closely related field
• Solid understanding of industrial systems and processes
• Familiarity with machinery safety standards (e.g., ISO 12100, ISO 13849) is a significant advantage
• Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong English communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical writing skills for reports and documentation
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
