Our client, a global logistics service provider with over 31,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Road Project Manager to manage complex global supply chains and support their Contract Logistics, Air/Ocean Freight, and Transport divisions. - Identify, target, and onboard new customers in collaboration with the sales team, with a strong focus on road freight needs and market demands
- Drive customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support
- Plan and execute customer implementation projects, including contract negotiations with vendors, system setup, and operational handovers
- Coordinate resources for road projects, including routes, vehicles, and personnel
- Assist the GM Road in daily operations and decision-making processes
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless operations
- Participate in initiatives to optimise road transport operations and processes, improving efficiency and service quality for domestic and cross-border operations
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, driving innovation and exploring alternative solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in the Thai road freight market
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for road projects
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Ability to travel between Bangkok (Asok) and Bangna areas
- Project management experience with a proven track record in managing and executing logistics projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data analytics to identify gaps, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement in customer solutions
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams effectively, as well as prioritise tasks
- Adaptability and a hands-on approach, comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
- Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Knowledge of compliance and safety; ADR certification is an advantage
- Proficiency with tools like TMS and MS Office; SAP is an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, with in-depth knowledge of road transport operations and warehouse business
- Experience in customs clearance is an advantage
