Regional Finance Manager

Our Client is looking for a highly experienced Regional Finance Manager and Group Function Business Partner to provide financial leadership across assigned regions and global functions. This role is critical in driving financial performance, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and supporting key strategic decisions. You will lead the financial stewardship for the region, offering insights, analyses, and strategic recommendations that create value and promote sound financial decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Business Partnering:
  
  
  • Provide financial leadership to country finance teams, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a key advisor, offering shareholders' perspectives and financial insights for key business decisions.
  • Lead comprehensive financial analyses on ROI, profitability, and long-term investments, providing recommendations to drive value creation.
  • Develop long-range finance plans that support prioritization and long-term strategies.
  • Oversee the creation of financial simulations, business cases, and scenario analyses, playing a pivotal role in influencing go/no-go decisions.
• Financial Planning, Analysis, and Control:
  
  
  • Lead the regional budget planning process, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Consolidate annual operating plans and budgets while overseeing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Analyze financial results, highlighting variances from budget/forecast/prior year, and providing detailed explanations.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance to drive consistency and standardization in financial reporting.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
  
  
  • Ensure finance, tax, and statutory compliance in the region, adhering to best practices and internal controls.
  • Maintain risk registers, escalating issues when necessary, and supporting external audit requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred.
• CA/CPA qualification is strongly preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a finance managerial role, demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience in life sciences, industrial, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or similar industries is a plus.
• Proven experience in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (particularly Microsoft Dynamics) and financial management tools.
