Our client, a multinational manufacturing company specialising in animal health and nutrition, particularly in food palatability, is seeking a Production & Material Planner to join its APAC production site. This role is responsible for the production of palatants and coordinating the flow of materials and goods from, within, and to Company, aligned with market demand. In this role, you are responsible for production planning and the related logistics processes and raw materials, in such a way that capacity is efficiently utilized, resources are effectively used, and customer orders are fulfilled on time. You will play a key role in ensuring raw material availability, efficient production planning, and on-time delivery—critical elements for maintaining the company’s market-leading position in pet food innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create weekly production plans for the dry blending line, considering capacity, lead times, cost-efficiency, and operational effectiveness
  • Monitor the availability of raw materials, packaging, semi-finished, and finished goods; track inventory changes and ensure minimal variance
  • Proactively identify irregularities in planning or materials and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update product databases, incorporating supplier specifications, production rates, standards, and logistics parameters
  • Continuously propose process improvements using EBOS (Lean) methodology—enhancing work methods, reducing costs, and supporting potential investments
  • Engage daily with the production floor team and site manager to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Handle import processes (air and sea freight) and support the Regulatory Affairs team with registration activities for the Thai Department of Livestock Development (DLD) and the Thai Department of Fisheries
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in a process or manufacturing industry
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with well-known ERP software
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
