Production Manager

Position Overview
Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, recognized for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to a wide array of industries. With a major production facility in Rayong, Thailand, they serve key markets such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. As their global presence continues to expand, the company is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to the organization's ongoing growth and success.
 
Responsibilities

• Oversee Production Operations: Lead and manage production teams, ensuring efficient operations across key manufacturing areas including extrusion, printing, and packaging.
• Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery and optimize the use of resources for maximum efficiency.
• Performance Improvement: Monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to boost productivity and quality across the manufacturing process.
• Waste Management: Identify areas for reducing material waste and execute strategies for sustainable production practices.
• Maintain Operational Standards: Foster a culture of safety, discipline, and cleanliness within the production environment, ensuring consistent operational standards.
• Policy Development: Implement and regularly update operational policies, and provide training to ensure staff compliance and best practices.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

 
Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and focus on maximizing operational efficiency.
• Focus on minimizing material waste and optimizing time management.
• Methodical, data-driven approach to managing production and solving operational challenges.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for production planning and performance analysis.
• Fluency in both Thai and English.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of driving improvements.
