Position Overview

Our client is a well-known multinational manufacturing company that is expanding operations in Thailand. We are looking for a Process Engineer with expertise or curiosity in manufacturing line spraying processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimise, and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste

• Provide technical expertise for advanced manufacturing; troubleshoot process-related issues affecting product

quality, cost, and throughput

• Collect and analyse process data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions

• Implement real-time process controls to ensure optimal operating conditions

• Evaluate and manage resources, including raw materials, manpower, and time

• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the final product meets specified standards

• Develop and maintain detailed process and product documentation for training and compliance

• Work with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, NPD, Production, and Quality Control, for integrated project

success

• Evaluate new or existing processes to determine feasibility and cost-savings

• Train staff on new processes, tools, or methodologies

• Integrate new technologies or systems to enhance overall efficiency

 

Requirements
 
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering – chemical, mechanical, or industrial

• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically as a process or manufacturing engineer

• Demonstrated experience in automatic spraying systems or robotic spraying in various industries

• Spraying process expertise, with a focus on wet painting and glazing

• Ability to develop and enhance spraying know-how.

• Exhibit a high proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and data analysis, including advanced software skills,

such as Minitab

• Comprehensive understanding of ERP systems for effective integrated business process management

• Demonstrated skills in programming and managing automated control systems, including expertise in handling

robots
