Our client is a newly launched, cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Chonburi, developed by a global leader in consumer goods. The plant places strong emphasis on operational excellence, sustainability, and strict adherence to international quality and safety standards. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Material and Process Engineer to take on a key technical leadership role across raw materials, manufacturing processes, and product delivery. As the primary technical contact and decision-maker, this individual will lead cross-functional problem-solving, drive cost-saving initiatives, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality. This is a high-impact role, critical to ensuring operational excellence and manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the single point of contact for Chonburi site on raw material, manufacturing process, and product delivery.
  • Provide leadership and direction in food processing, material supply, and finished goods delivery.
  • Lead and execute cost-saving projects, with a focus on materials, processes, and operational strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve food production issues by organizing resources and offering technical guidance.
  • Deliver technical solutions from project scoping through start-up and qualification, supporting both R&D and commercial initiatives.
  • Assess risk of new initiatives before execution at manufacturing sites to ensure smooth and effective results.
  • Qualify new suppliers regionally and globally for continuity, quality, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee equipment and process qualification, and validate new processes for technology transfer across manufacturing sites.
  • Manage technical standards, SOPs, and material quality systems; develop and communicate best practices to all stakeholders.
  • Act as a key technical communicator across functions (QA, RQT, Production, Procurement, Commercial) and provide support in crisis situations like material shortages.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with hands-on involvement in factory operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, ISO, and FSSC standards, with experience leading teams through audits and certifications.
  • Proven expertise in food hygiene and safety risk assessments for qualifying suppliers, materials, and processes.
  • In-depth understanding of new product development, from concept through scale-up and full commercial launch.
  • Solid experience in process transfer and sustaining deliverables in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge of food ingredients, processing methods, and manufacturing systems.
  • Strong project management capabilities to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely, quality outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • Competency in laboratory testing, experimental design, and data-driven decision-making in a production setting.
