Our client is a leading provider of flow control solutions, renowned for designing, manufacturing, and servicing valves, actuators, and related equipment used across oil & gas, water treatment, and energy industries. They are currently seeking a driven and strategic MRO Sales Manager to lead the growth of their Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business in a key market. This role is ideal for someone with strong market insight, commercial acumen, and a passion for driving business development through technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential sales leads and qualify opportunities early in the sales cycle
  • Understand customer needs and align them with tailored MRO solutions
  • Analyse pipeline performance to identify bottlenecks and areas for business growth
  • Track proposal win/loss rates and adjust strategies to improve success rates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Organise regular meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer value
  • Conduct training sessions for distributors and sales teams on product knowledge, trends, and technical applications
  • Showcase how solutions contribute to improved operational efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability
  • Research competitors’ products, pricing, and positioning to gain insight into market dynamics
  • Benchmark performance, features, and value of company offerings against competitors
  • Identify market gaps and leverage company strengths to capture new opportunities
  • Use customer feedback and market insights to shape flexible and competitive pricing strategies
  • Design targeted pricing campaigns, bundles, and discount strategies for different segments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify product gaps and recommend developments that address evolving customer needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in MRO or industrial equipment sectors
  • Proven track record of building strong distributor and client relationships
  • Strong understanding of MRO sales cycles and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from sales data
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales forecasting systems
  • Fluent in English and Thai
