Our Client is a global leader in the Agriculture sector with strong presence across the region. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to lead the Human Resources agenda for their Global R&D Center based in Chiang Mai. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR management and operations, including talent acquisition, learning and development, performance and talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational development. In this role, you will work closely with the Thailand Head of HR and the R&D Operations Manager to deliver HR programs that attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring efficient HR and administrative support for both office and farm operations.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in end-to-end HR leadership, strong knowledge of Thai labor laws, and the ability to drive engagement and build organizational capability. Responsibilities:
- Lead full-spectrum HR management for the company’s facility in Chiang Mai, covering office and farm operations
- Partner with managers to define workforce needs and oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Develop and implement learning and development plans to close capability gaps and build organizational capability
- Manage performance management processes, ensuring quality goal-setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans
- Provide guidance on talent reviews, succession planning, and individual development planning for key talents
- Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and productivity
- Handle employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Thai labor laws and resolving grievances effectively
- Oversee compensation and benefits, providing market insights, driving annual compensation planning, and ensuring payroll accuracy
- Ensure HR policies are up to date, compliant, and aligned with business strategies
- Lead HR operations including HRIS, reporting, and statutory compliance submissions
- Oversee administrative services and budget management to support smooth facility operations
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on HR best practices, people development, and organizational effectiveness
- 8–10 years of end-to-end HR management experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, learning & development, and employee engagement
- Hands-on expertise in compensation & benefits, performance management, and HR operations
- Experience with HRIS systems deployment and management
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Fluent in English Communication
