We are seeking a Genotyping Operator to join the Technical Services team in Chiang Mai, Thailand. You will operate and maintain high-throughput genotyping equipment using KASP technology, supporting daily lab operations and driving process improvements. A background in biotechnology or engineering and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset are essential.

- Sets up and maintains analytical instrumentation for DNA assay preparation, HT-PCR and DNA detection
- Plans and organises daily work schedules to meet laboratory service level demands under periodic supervision
- Ensures samples are handled and processed with the utmost integrity and with attention to detail
- Collects, analyses and interprets data to monitor quality control of the HT equipment performance
- Ensures HT equipment is cleaned, maintained, logbooks up to date, and correctly turned on and shut down as required
- Provides technical insight to management to continuously improve suitability of the laboratory environment for the HT equipment
- Reports technical issues immediately to management which may affect service level and works to resolve issues with priority
- Performs equipment maintenance and calibrations as necessary
- Ad-hoc projects or company events as assigned
- Master of Biotechnology, Science or Engineering in a physical or life sciences discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience working with robotics, high-throughput or automated machinery
- English (TOEIC > 750 or equivalent) essential and Thai desirable
- Experience in KASP genotyping desirable
