Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. They are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations at a manufacturing site. This role requires strong leadership and technical capabilities in both hard and soft services, including preventive maintenance, cleaning, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, responding to facility issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Understand and anticipate client needs, proactively proposing service enhancements.
  • Streamline operations by adopting innovative techniques and ensuring all equipment is operational and compliant.
  • Conduct routine inspections and provide clear, actionable facility reports to senior management.
  • Establish and implement training programs for internal staff and vendors.
  • Manage the performance and budget compliance of the facilities team.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency through new processes and technologies.
  • Set strategic goals and review financial plans for facility operations.
  • Enforce health and safety policies, ensuring alignment with local laws and regulations.
  • Oversee capital expenditure projects and department-wide budgeting.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with internal teams and third-party contractors.
  • Conduct financial analyses, prepare accurate reports, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Maintain a site-based risk register and complete regular safety assessments.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring all contractual commitments are fulfilled.
  • Mentor and supervise team members, ensuring continuous professional development.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in facility or engineering management, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Solid knowledge of facility laws, safety standards, and project management practices
  • Strong background in budget control, performance metrics, and compliance management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with maintenance management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve conflict effectively
