Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all mechanical systems within a high-rise building complex. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering, building systems management, and facilities operations, with extensive experience in high-rise or large-scale commercial property environments. 

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all electrical or mechanical systems in high-rise buildings, including power distribution, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, emergency systems, and backup generators.
  • Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all building systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical equipment.
    Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
  • Manage projects involving system upgrades, renovations, and building expansions.
  • Monitor energy and utility consumption, and implement energy-saving and efficiency initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely, cost-effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless building operations.
  • Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and procurement plans for engineering projects and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, maintenance records, and inspection reports for all building systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineer
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or mechanical engineer for high-rise buildings, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations.
  • Proven experience managing teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution of electrical works.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to work 6 days per week, including emergency or on-call support as needed.
