I. Job Summary
EWS is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Sustainability Data and Reporting Specialist to lead the development and implementation of data management frameworks for sustainability projects. This role will focus on annual sustainability reporting efforts in line with CSRD-ESRS requirements. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing data collection, analyzing data, providing insights through reports and dashboards, publishing annual sustainability reports collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
II. Roles and Responsibilities
● Develop and implement a comprehensive data collection, analysis, and monitoring framework for sustainability projects.
● Coordinate regularly with different teams from different countries (e.g., R&D, Seed Processing, Operations) to gather data.
● Monitor and track key sustainability projects, ensuring progress is aligned with timelines, budgets, and KPIs.
● Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key data trends, project progress, and sustainability performance, making it easier for teams to track progress and identify areas for action.
● Compile and analyze data to produce regular reports on sustainability impacts, progress, and areas for improvement, delivering updates to leadership teams.
● Track key sustainability performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with company goals and sustainability commitments.
● Develop and conduct training sessions for internal teams on best practices for data collection, reporting, and using data management tools effectively.
● Curate and publish annual sustainability reports, newsletters, and other communication materials.

IV. Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills)
● Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
● 5-7 years of experience in sustainability data collection, analysis, and reporting, preferably in an agriculture or farming-related industry.
● Proficiency in data analytics tools and dashboard creation (e.g., Power BI, Excel etc). ● Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
V. Required Competencies
Core competencies ● Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical complex data. ● Preferred knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including the CSRD -
European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) ● Preferred knowledge of carbon accounting.
Leadership competencies
● A self-starter who takes initiative without constant supervision. ● Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams ● Comfortable with analyzing complex data, and turning insights into
actionable recommendations.

● Open to change and capable of adjusting approaches as needed to meet evolving company and regulatory requirements.
● Focused on finding solutions to challenges and continuously improving processes and tools to support sustainability and safety initiatives.
