Our client, a global leader in the agriculture and seed industry, is seeking a Business Controller to provide strategic financial support and technical accounting expertise aimed at maximizing business value and minimizing risk. This role plays a critical part in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, delivering financial insights to support investment decisions, cost efficiency, and long-term growth. The role includes stakeholder collaboration, scenario planning, audit support, and team capability development, reporting directly to the Country Finance Manager.

- Provide financial views for business plans, process development, and appropriate financial insight
- Demonstrate key stakeholder engagement and business challenges
- Lead the forecast and budget forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes, working with stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables
- Develop a 3–5 years planning tool to aid scenario planning for the company
- Evaluate investments, expenditures, and financing of projects and provide recommendations.
- Be a Business Partner to the S&M, Operation (SPO and Plant processing), and Group function team, providing consistent and rigorous financial modeling and commercial challenge for a product, pricing decisions, cost efficiency, and its impact on value creation
- Provide insight and analysis into the Product/Channel financial performance and cost optimization.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to support company goals, increase financial reporting accuracy and develop and improve internal control and productivity saving.
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of management reporting, ensuring all major variances are investigated and explained and corrective action is taken as necessary to get expenses aligned to plan
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and/or Business administration
- 10 years of working experience with 5 years of experience in Business or Operational controlling and 3 years in FP&A role
- Able to make a hard decision, drive the solutions to complex business problems
- Proficient in using MS Office – Excel and Big Data Analysis
- Experience in Cost Accounting, MS dynamic and ERP implementation will be an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
