Our client, a leading snack manufacturing facility, is seeking an Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Lead to drive equipment reliability and operational excellence. This role will be responsible for overseeing the Autonomous Maintenance Centre of Excellence, collaborating with production teams and technicians to implement and optimise maintenance practices that empower operators through effective training and support.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Autonomous Maintenance Centre of Excellence, working closely with Continuous Improvement and Reliability Maintenance teams
  • Develop and manage a Daily Management System (DMS) for routine tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and addressing equipment defects
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure Autonomous Maintenance performance and ensure strong oversight and governance
  • Prepare and maintain dashboard reports for operational systems within the plant, providing clear visibility of performance
  • Organise and facilitate training workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team
  • Assess training needs for Technicians, Front Line Leaders, and Plant Leadership, implementing training schedules and evaluating their effectiveness for continuous improvement
  • Mentor and coach Technicians to help them achieve operational goals and maximise performance
  • Participate in cost innovation processes and benchmark practices with other facilities to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement operational practices that ensure compliance with standards and drive efficiency
  • Serve as the key contact for Autonomous Maintenance initiatives, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across the network
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in implementing Autonomous Maintenance practices
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Smart Factory (SF) tools
  • Fluent in English and Thai, with strong communication skills to engage across all levels of the organisation
  • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills; experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, TQM) is a plus
