Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. They are seeking an experienced professional Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee technical operations, engineering services, and project delivery across key client sites. The role covers preventive maintenance, capital project planning, vendor coordination, and on-site team supervision. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact, ensuring service delivery meets all performance, compliance, and contractual standards. This is a critical position supporting operational excellence in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities:

Client & Project Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Attend client meetings and ensure timely delivery of reports and documentation
  • Analyze scopes of work and propose engineering or technical solutions that meet compliance, performance, and contractual standards
  • Plan and manage capital projects including budgeting and reporting for assigned accounts
  • Develop preventive maintenance plans and capital improvement pipelines in line with identified needs
  • Oversee repair and maintenance activities conducted by internal or external teams
  • Contribute to vendor and contractor management through technical assessments scope definition mobilization support and performance tracking
Team Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support to operational team members
  • Participate in staff recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Mentor and coach team members to support competency development and performance improvement
  • Coordinate workforce planning including team structuring scheduling and resource allocation
  • Identify training needs and implement relevant development programs
General Duties
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management when required
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in technical operational or project-related roles
  • Familiarity with business practices contract management and industry-specific compliance standards
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong analytical thinking
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to deliver timely reliable service
  • Comfortable presenting complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Skilled in handling sensitive situations and resolving issues with discretion
  • Financial literacy including intermediate-level calculations and advanced analysis
  • Ability to interpret and work with technical documents and data
  • Proficient in common business software, especially Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of contract or project management tools
