Our client is one of the official distributors of cars and motorbikes for a prestigious European automotive brand in Thailand. Operating showrooms and service centres across three locations, they focus on providing top-tier automotive products and services. As manufacturers and distributors, they supply essential components for local assembly, enabling them to compete effectively in the rapidly evolving global market.

We are currently seeking a passionate and driven General Manager of Sales (New Cars) to lead the automotive sales division and achieve ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and coach the sales team to foster a high-performance culture
  • Achieve growth and meet sales targets by effectively managing the sales team
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and enhance market presence
  • Oversee recruitment, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Drive sales across various channels, including new cars, GKL, online sales, and trade-ins
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and provide the necessary tools and processes to ensure strategic execution
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular reports and forecasts, and present sales results to management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and adapt to market shifts, staying informed on new products and competitors
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven experience as a sales representative or sales manager with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influence skills at all organisational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management abilities
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English communication skills
