Our client is a global leader in electronics production and we are currently looking to hire an experienced Financial Controller. The successful candidate will enhance the financial performance and competitiveness of the plant through meticulous management and strategic planning.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce internal finance procedures, including spending authorization, adhering to company policies
  • Ensure all site activities align with financial procedures and internal control standards

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Lead financial forecasting processes, including budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Oversee the reporting process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
  • Ensure the reliability of standard costing and conduct comprehensive financial analyses (variance, margin, budgetary control, sales and purchasing prices)

Cash Flow Management:

  • Control and manage the plant’s operating cash flow, including capital expenditures, inventories, and overdue payments
  • Collaborate with the Shared Service Centre to provide accurate financial information for internal and external audits

New Program Involvement:

  • Participate in business plan validation and monitor program startups
  • Conduct post-audit analyses and track convergence plans related to plant activities

Business Partnership:

  • Act as a strategic partner to plant management, providing actionable recommendations to achieve operational targets and financial optimization
  • Develop and monitor action plans to enhance plant profitability and cash flow
  • Promote financial awareness among plant operational teams

Team Management:

  • Lead and develop the controlling team to ensure high performance and professional growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering.
  • 3 to 10 years of professional experience, including controlling experience at the plant level
  • Proficiency in Industrial Information Systems and Flows
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and SAP is advantageous
  • Strong accounting knowledge and business acumen
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
