Our client is a global logistics provider with a multi-billion euro turnover. They have offices throughout the globe, with the regional headquarters for Asia based here in Bangkok. They are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join the Legal Compliance Division as a Legal Officer.
The Legal Officer will provide legal advice and support on business operations and growth initiatives, manage legal documents and correspondence, assist in legal research and projects, deliver compliance training, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Responsibilities :
  • Provide legal advice and support on business operations and growth initiatives, including reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents and correspondence in both Thai and English
  • Support legal projects supervised by the manager and conduct legal research activities, including other legal tasks as assigned
  • Assist the Manager in developing and delivering legal and compliance training to educate employees on legal and compliance matters when required
  • Effectively liaise between the legal and compliance department and other departments or external counsels to facilitate communication and document exchange
  • Provide compliance guidance on business initiatives, analyse alternatives and solutions to enable business growth in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, compliance policies, and industry codes of practice
  • Promote a culture of compliance and collaboration throughout the organisation and assist others with their initiatives and efforts Establish and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the end-to-end claims process
  • Maintain internal client files and records to provide legal services efficiently and effectively to the business
  • Contribute to a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience, including relevant legal and compliance experience
  • Qualified lawyer of junior or mid-level with experience in law firms in corporate practice or claim/litigation handling
  • Possess strong analytical skills to dissect complex legal issues, along with a keen ability to draft precise legal documents and communicate effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and Thai
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-centric attitude
  • Able to work independently and in teams if required, learn quickly, and adapt to diverse cultures, agile and changing environments
  • Possess the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate competency to drive change, implement initiatives, and influence at all organisational levels
  • Willing to travel
