We are seeking a Product and Customer Quality Manager to join their team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure product delivery conformity to meet customer satisfaction requirements, driving continuous improvement to enhance product performance and generate quality initiatives that result in cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure conformity of delivered products to the customer and manage product and process validation
  • Perform regular reporting and controls to assess customer satisfaction, product compliance, and process performance
  • Record and address deviations with corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure cross-functional communication of any discrepancies encountered by the customer
  • Promote continuous improvement by implementing effective quality tools (visual management, QRQC, PMS, 5S, and 8D)
  • Manage and update the customer quality control plan to ensure production consistency
  • Communicate non-conformities identified in the quality programme
  • Pilot risk mitigation on products using FMEA production tools
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to perform product risk management (FMEA, Control Plan, Self-inspection)
  • Conduct initial process capability studies and First Article Inspection (FAI)
  • Manage measurement tools, calibration, and testing equipment, and maintain records
  • Train staff on new procedures or work instructions as implemented
  • Seek opportunities for quality and cost improvements and execute results
  • Perform tasks as assigned by a superior
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Green or Black Belt certification is advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving tools and statistical process control knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Aerospace and Defence industry regulations is a plus
  • Experience with quality tools (production measures, nonconformance, tracking, calibration)
  • Leadership capability and the ability to foster teamwork
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent organisational and management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with management
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
