Electrical Design Engineer

They are currently on the lookout for a talented and experienced Electrical Design Engineer who specializes in EC (Electronically Commutated) Motor design to join their vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop EC Motors and associated electrical systems for electronic products.
  • Create and review detailed technical drawings, schematics, and PCB layouts for motor control circuits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure optimal integration of motor designs.
  • Conduct simulations and perform rigorous testing to validate motor designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to motor design and performance.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Stay informed on the latest technological advancements and industry trends related to EC Motors and incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering in an Electronics Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of motor control principles, electronic components, circuit design, and PCB layout.
  • Experience with simulation tools and testing equipment specific to motor design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IPC, IEC, and UL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
