Our client is one of the world's leading tropical vegetable seed companies. We are looking to fill the role of Finance Shared Service Manager to be responsible for the accounting team in Thailand and Southeast Asia. The Finance Shared Service Manager collaborates with the rest of global finance departments to execute accounting deliverables and continuously improve processes through design simplification, innovation, and automation.

Responsibilities ;

  • Manage financial strategies and processes and ensure that the company’s Shared Services Model plan is implemented
  • Oversee financial services and support required by internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including internal analyses
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and internal policy documents
  • Drive process optimisation and improvements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
  • Establish effective governance mechanisms to ensure compliance and control
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure services meet their requirements
  • Act as point of contact for escalations and resolve issues
  • Lead and manage a team within the shared services center, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Set up internal process for distributing the cost of shared services

Requirements ;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • CPA qualification is an advantage
  • 8-10 years of finance/accounting, with experience starting-up a shared services environment
  • Solid knowledge of local and international accounting standards
  • Strong leader with experience managing and mentoring staff
  • Intermediate IT skills, including ERP systems with the ability to interpret and improve system functionality
  • Solid analytical and investigation skills to deliver value-added reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement and best practices
  • A self-starter capable of managing multiple activities and priorities
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, customer-service focused, flexible
  • Effective, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads; experience in a deadline-driven environment
