Global Finance Management Trainee

Our client is one of the world's leading tropical vegetable seed companies. We are currently looking for a Global Finance Management Trainee. The successful candidate will embark on a comprehensive training programme to understand the company's financial operations, analysis, and management. This role provides hands-on experience and a strong foundation in various aspects of finance, paving the way for future opportunities within the finance department. Responsibilities:

• Participate in meetings and training sessions that provide an understanding of the business, its operations and the different facets of the organisation. Use the knowledge and insights you’ve learned to perform assigned tasks and projects
• Partner with other business teams to understand operational cycles. Provide financial advice for business teams on request. Work on ad-hoc reports to support management decisions
• Assist in collecting & organising financial data from month-end closings. Conduct financial analyses as assigned: financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost savings, variance analysis
• Become proficient with in-house ERP and EWS applications. Arrange user trainings for targeted users. Assist the project manager to roll out ERP
• Identify areas for process enhancement and automation within the finance department to optimise workflows
• Learn about the various financial regulations, laws, and internal policies at the Group and Country level to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Young graduates with at least 2 years of working experiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent mathematical proficiency and attention to detail
• Effective written and spoken communication skills
• Keen to learn new things with a curious attitude
• Mobile and can travel
