Production Manager

JacksonGrant has been engaged to find an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations for a sheet metal fabrication company serving the aerospace and automotive industries. The company specialises in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Metal Stamping, Hard-tooling Design & Manufacturing, CNC Milling, Aluminium Extrusion, and more.
The Production Manager will be responsible for optimizing the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. They will lead a team of supervisors and workers and be accountable for managing the production budget, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer needs while optimising efficiency
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Manage the production budget
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Lead and motivate a team of supervisors and workers to meet production targets and ensure a safe work environment
• Develop and implement training programmes for workers to ensure they have the skills needed to meet production demands
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to ensure adequate levels of raw materials and finished products are available
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies 
• Prepare reports and present production data to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or related field
• 7 years of experience in industrial production management, preferably in Aerospace, metal sheet fabrication, coating, and plating
• Ability to communicate in both Thai and English
• Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and quality control
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
