Our client is a multinational luxury products manufacturer. We are seeking an ambitious Production Manager (Coating) to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of the company’s growing operations in Thailand and in the region.

- Oversee daily plating production operations to ensure products are delivered on-time, on-budget, and meet quality standards
- Ensure resources are allocated to optimise production; support and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality and output
- Support implementation of strategic productivity roadmap, and relevant company initiatives
- Ensure manufacturing process, parameters, and procedures are accurate and strictly followed to maintain high standards
- Manage shop-floor operations to ensure high quality product, on-time delivery and lowest possible cost. Provide support to the night shift as necessary
- Ensure production performance meets targets; provide analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement; ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to investigate and rectify quality issues and other technical problems
- Act as a gatekeeper for commissioning activities and handover processes
- Closely monitor all production processes; visit shop floor daily to meet with team; adjust manpower allocation according to fluctuation of daily workload and product complexity
- Analyse defects and scrap generation
- Other tasks as assigned by the management
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with at least 10 years of experience in electroplating or coating, including managerial role(s) in Manufacturing
- Strong problem-solver and decision-maker under pressure
- Able to work weekends and night shifts as needed
- Good interpersonal, communication, leadership, project and performance management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently with a high degree of accountability; ambitious and goal-oriented
- Open-minded; listens to colleague’s feedback
- Competent in Microsoft Office and ERP
- Fluent in both Thai and English
